Washing Machine Leaks

Most people don’t think twice about their washing machines unless there is a problem.  If your washing machine breaks, and you end up with a water loss, that’s where SERVPRO of Ozaukee County can help!!! 

For example, if the supply hose is damaged or has a faulty connection to either the wall or the washing machine, more than 600 gallons of water could potentially spill out within an hour. Any amount of water could lead to significant damage.  Even small amounts of water can cause problems.  The sooner you get your house dried out; you will be able to decrease the likelihood that mold will grow. 

To prevent water damage, you should replace your washing machine supply hose at least once every five years.  It is important not to overload your washing machine. Constantly stuffing too many clothes into your washing machine could loosen gaskets and valves or even cause cracks.
