So You've Got Mold - Don't Panic!

So you have something on your wall that looks like mold.  Or you had a home inspection and they found mold.  What should you do? 

DON'T PANIC!!!

What you don't want to do is throw bleach at the wall thinking that is all that is necessary. That could cause the mold spores to spread into the air and leave you with more mold.

You do want to call SERVPRO of Ozaukee County at 262-242-8888.  We will figure out what to do.  Sometimes circumstances may warrant having an independent assessment of the type of mold and how many mold spores there are.  There are Independent Environmental Professionals (IEPs) who take air samples and send them to a laboratory for testing.  They can also write a protocol for us to follow.  If an IEP is not required, we will perform the mold remediation based upon our inspection.  

We will inspect the area of suspected mold, take pictures, create a drawing, write an estimate and proposal, and make sure that all your questions are answered before we begin the job.
