Saturated Ceiling from Sink Overflow

The wet ceiling was caused by the customer leaving a bathroom faucet on for several hours.  Eventually, the sink got plugged up and caused the sink to overflow onto the bathroom floor. The water then went down through the floor and vents to the family room directly below the upstairs bathroom. Notice the extent of the water damage; the water affected the entire ceiling.  When the technicians opened up the ceiling, many gallons of discolored water poured onto the floor.

The after picture was taken after the demolition of the ceiling and partial demolition of the wall were completed and the drying was complete. Our customer was expecting a much longer drying process and she was thrilled that the rebuild could begin right away.
