Heavy Cigar/Cigarette Smoke Cleaning

We were very successful at removing very dark smoke residue from the walls and ceiling of this home after years of heavy cigarette/cigar usage. This is sometimes the hardest discoloration and odor to remove because the cigarette/cigar usage is sustained sometimes for decades.  The smell permeates all the porous substances and in extreme cases walls and floors, even subfloors must be removed.  We used SERVPRO products especially created for removing smoke residue and odor.  Once the process is completed we determine if any odor remains.  If it does, we can either wet fog the area or use ozone to get the last of the odor removed.
